Miso Soup Nabe

Ingredients

  • Pork 180g(6.4 oz)
  • Carrot 100g(3.5oz)
  • Potato x 3
  • Leek 1/2(or Japanese Naganegi 1 stalk)
  • Savoy cabbage 120g(4.2oz)
  • Shimeji mushrooms 100g(3.5oz)
  • Tofu (medium firm) one block(10oz)
  • Miso 6 tablespoons

Method

1.Slice carrots into quarter sizes, slice leek into 1/2 inch, cut savoy cabbage into 1- 2 inch. Cut tofu bite-size pieces (1 inch)

2.Peel potatoes and cut into quarters. Cut the bottoms of shimeji mushrooms and tear them apart.

3.Add 6 cups water, carrots, leeks, savoy cabbages, potatoes, shimeji mushrooms, bring the soup to boil.

4.Add pork, miso, tofu and cook until the vegetables are cooked through and softened.
